Best of Craigslist: Apocalypse Edition

With two (yep, count ’em — TWO) ads referencing the apocalypse this week (plus so much more,) should we take it as a sign? Probably not … it’s just a normal day for Best of Craigslist.

With an intro like that, let’s just jump right in. From Megan: “Apparently this horse eats grass AND will not be involved in the apocalypse. What more could you ask for?”

eats grass

Quarter Horse — Brown with White markings on head. Beautiful horse. $150 obo.

(This horse will NOT get you into trouble with the Book of Revelation — it’s not a White horse or the anti-Christ, it’s not a Red Horse of war or rumors of war, it’s not a Black horse of famine, and it’s not the Pale horse of death by pestilence.) This is a beautiful brown horse. He’s known by the name ”Buddy” and he can be your Buddy for a few bucks. He’s looking for someone to love whom he can love — and he’ll keep you lawn very clean (no grass to mow with Buddy around). Call or email today.

The same cannot be said of this pony, submitted by Molly:

Well folks, looks like you can take your pick: anti-apocalypse or pro-apocalypse. We’ll move along to this precocious horse submitted by JQ: “2 yr old, broke to ride and drive…. I guess he’ll be President  by the time he is 5!”

paint stands 14,2 at just 2 year old so still got plenty to grow. he is full stud has been vet ck an has both testes descended, an is just turned 2. has fresh cogency , shots, and de-wormed. easy going an very level headed, loves to be with you, don’t seem to be afraid of anything iv showed him. ok with other animals. has been start under saddle an doing well ready to be finished your way. id think make a prospective ranch horse not bothered by cows an i have open an closed gates on him. be a great trail horse not spooky, i think he would enjoy a coarse challenge. iv showed him a buggy an didn’t care about it so i hook him up with out blinders an led him around and he went right on with no issues.then i put blinders on an got in an did well. he dont act like a typical stud very nice guy. he is small frame like a Tennessee an i believe he is quarter cross he has the large rear an thick neck. he does have a cord Hernia vet ck an hole is tiny so theirs no issue at all. will take offers
