On the track “failure”
Off track her kind eyes caught mine
Now loving best friend

Julie’s haiku goes out to her OTTB “Sweetie.”

Julie writes, “She is a 5 year old daughter of Victory Gallop (won the Belmont in 1998).  It was love at first sight. I hadn’t owned a horse since 1979 and got her in January of this year. She’s such a gift to my life!  Through her I have made friends, been a better person and stay active!  When I retire I know how I’m going to give back–somehow helping these magnificent and gracious horses that give us so much joy!!”
