Free-jumping is a great way to assess a young or developing horse’s potential as a natural jumper, or build confidence in the budding jumper’s ability to navigate the fences and think for himself. We’ve seen lots of free-jumping videos in our day, ranging from overachieving young OTTBs or warmbloods to overly-clever ponies who jump their way right out of the arena and run back to the barn … but it’s safe to say we’ve never seen a free-jumper quite like this.
