Triple Crown Toes

Got purple nail polish, a camera, and a Facebook account? Wanna show your support for I’ll Have Another and aid the Thoroughbred Charities of America in the process? Here’s your chance!

It began as a twitter challenge between Three Chimneys Farm Communications Director Jen Roytz (“I’m thinking purple toenails in support of @Ill_HaveAnother – who’s with me?”), race writer Patti Davis (“I will donate $100 to the [Thoroughbred Charities of America] if BOTH Ray and Jen paint their tootsies IHA purple and POST PICS! Who’s with me?”) and the Paulick Report’s Ray Paulick, who took the bait.

But when I’ll Have Another’s owners, Mr. and Mrs. Reddam, got wind of the challenge, they drastically broadened the scope–offering a $20 donation to the TCA  for every purple-toed picture posted to the I’ll Have Another Pedicure Facebook page.

Since then, all kinds of race fans have been getting in on the action–and the challenge ain’t limited to females, folks.
