Watch This: World Equestrian Center Ocala Preview

Give me your poor, your tired, your muddy and covered in bits of hay, and let them take a gander at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, slated to open in January 2021.

As I watched this video for the first time, I kept thinking I was looking at something else… some other iconic place in the world… a location that stood for opulence and luxury…

Ah, that’s right. The Palace of Versailles!

Not simply a mere show grounds, the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, currently under construction, promises to be an equestrian resort — complete with a five-star hotel featuring balconies overlooking the show ring, high-end boutique shopping and fine dining ringside.

Oh, there are also 17 outdoor arenas (one of those is big enough to be measured in acres), four climate-controlled indoor arenas, climate-controlled stabling and seating for 8,000 spectators. Situated on 4,000 acres in Ocala, Florida — called the horse capital of the world — the World Equestrian Center will be the largest equestrian complex on the globe.

In addition to all of these resort and riding spaces, options also exist to purchase three-acre lots in the World Equestrian Estates so you can have your own winter dream showing barn right on property. Options will exist to purchase multiple lots should you need a little more room to stretch your legs; a total of 300 lots will be available. Adjoining residential communities offer condos in close proximity to the equestrian center as well.

It appears that World Equestrian Center Ocala has thought of just about every amenity possible for the competitive equestrian! Learn more at the center’s website. Horse Nation, what do you think?

Go riding.
