If horses could choose their own disciplines, surely they would all pick dressage… right? After all, dressage is the basis of all training, and when practiced correctly, brings out the best of the horse’s natural athleticism and strength.

Well, that might be true from a rider’s perspective, but in reality, it takes a lot of practice to be even a little bit close to perfect. And your horse might have a few thoughts about all of that practice.
