‘Oh Crap’ Monday: Royal Wedding Edition

Monday is already the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” moment gleaned from the biggest equestrian event of the weekend at which two people also got married.

Okay, a confession: I didn’t watch the royal wedding. But Kristen, I can hear some readers saying now. It was such a cultural event, a social landmark, and you missed out on all of the wonderful horses! Sorry, folks — I spent all week in front of a screen, so when Saturday rolls around I spend my waking hours with my actual horses.

But that doesn’t mean I can’t browse the highlight reels that inevitably flood social media on the Monday following — and as we all know, where there are horses there will be “oh crap” moments. The royal wedding was no exception. Some horses just can’t keep the crazy on the inside.

Okay, as far as equine meltdowns go, given the undoubtedly bonkers atmosphere, this was pretty mild. Cheers to the happy couple — and by happy couple, we mean this rider and his horse who managed to get it pulled back together again. (And, you know, Harry and Meghan, too — cheers to you as well.)
