Your Horse’s Favorite Flavor Could Be Next SmartCookie

Does your horse have a favorite flavor of treat or cookie? His personal tastes could be the next Flavor of the Year for SmartPak’s signature SmartCookies line! Check out the contest details here.

Some horses will be remembered in history for their Olympic gold medals. Others will be remembered for their world-record-setting speed. And one lucky horse will be immortalized for his taste in treat flavor.

SmartPak is looking for YOUR help in choosing the next SmartCookies Flavor of the Year! Fans are invited to submit their flavors until March 15 via the SmartPak website, and a panel of SmartPak judges and equine nutrition experts will select the top three. Voting for the best of the three finalist flavors will be open on March 22-29 with the winner announced on April 2.

This special flavor in the SmartCookies line will be available as a limited edition in the fall of 2018.

“We created SmartCookies to be perfect bite-size treats, made with healthy ingredients that you can feel good about feeding your horse. Now, we’ll be able to add a new and exciting flavor option, inspired by your horses, to our lineup of one of our most popular treats!” describes Casey Fleming, Senior Manager of Product Development & Sourcing.

The existing line of SmartCookies includes Guilt-Free Peppermint Patty, Guilt-Free Carrot Cake, or Guilt-Free Banana Bread SmartCookies (which, honestly, all sound good enough for US to eat, let along our horses).
