7 Times Tina Belcher Perfectly Captured Our Feelings

If you have ever watched the show Bob’s Burgers (on Fox and Hulu), you’re probably familiar with Tina Belcher, a 13 year old horse lover and my very own spirit animal, who despite (or maybe because of) her awkwardness possesses an innate confidence and security in her womanhood. When Tina speaks, what sometimes comes out of her mouth are words wise beyond her 13 years. Other times the insecure girl sneaks out.

All of us have experienced both the confidence brought by and insecurity caused by horses, so it’s no wonder that she is so relatable to equestrians. Here are a few times Tina has been everything to every horse junky out there.
Ponies: You can’t live without them, and you might not live with them. Tina sums up their appeal perfectly.
When you say you’ll never date another horse boy/girl: Whether in a tight pair of fullseats, or a well-fitting pair of wranglers, the butt of an equestrian is nearly impossible to resist.
Horse girls getting ready for a date: We are going straight from the barn to dinner. We will look amazing and if you’re lucky, we may even smell like leather.
When you unironically wear rust-colored breeches and you know you look amazing: Eat your heart out, George Morris!
Every two seconds in your lesson: You think you’re in shoulder-in, but is your angle correct? Is your bend correct? So many things!
When your trainer asks why you didn’t add more leg: The answer is really because your legs are DYING but you know your trainer won’t find that answer acceptable.
How to really get that 10 on your centerline: You know your horse isn’t going to halt squarely, and there’s a 75% chance he won’t halt at all. What’s one to do?
