I have barn cats, and all they do is complain loudly and get in the way. Lane’s End Farm has a barn cat, and he is apparently a professional practitioner of equine massage.

If you’re a cat person, few things are more soothing than when a cat snuggles up on your lap and kneads your thighs — I’ve taken to calling the action “making bread” when my semi-domesticated house cats are feeling friendly and “death by pins” when my sharp-clawed mostly-feral barn cat wants to get cozy.
