Goode Rider No-Stirrup November Contest Winner!

We teamed up with Goode Rider this year to celebrate No-Stirrup November — because after a full month of working so hard without your stirrups to strengthen yourself as a rider, don’t you deserve a reward like the Luxe Parka?

Yeah, we thought so too. One lucky winner of our contest will be receiving a Luxe Parka from Goode Rider as a reward for their hard work all month long: we’re pleased to announce that Brittany Childers is our big winner this year!

I am working on my sitting trot under my trainer’s watchful eye. We were working on walk to trot transitoning using leg and body weight only. This was a huge step for my mare!

Brittany rides her own “Colors of the Wind,” known around the barn as Sierra. Her goal for No-Stirrup November? “To achieve a correct lower leg as well as a better core base. I am an aspiring eventer so I would like to improve my core to be able to properly sit the canter in dressage and have a nice solid leg when I jump. I took a couple years off of really showing so I am hoping to move up to beginner novice in recognized shows this summer and novice schooling shows.”
