Absorbine Photo Challenge: 9 Clips For Winter

From the conservative to the creative, check out what your fellow Horse Nation readers have designed for their horses for the winter!

For this week’s Absorbine photo challenge, we wanted to see your winter horse clips, whether you’re a traditional trace clipper or fabulously creative at carving initials, city skylines or the preamble to the Constitution into your horse’s coat. As usual, you guys all delivered.

Here is our randomly-selected winner of this week’s Absorbine prize pack:

Joy Taylor: "Khan got a fancy fern clip for this winter's dressage schooling show series."

Haley Macdonald Johnson: "This was my heart horse Abbey. I'm an "Aggie" student at Utah State University. Around here, there's a tradition called True Aggie Night, where a couple can kiss on top of the iconic "A" to become True Aggies. So I named her True Abbey, out of love for my Equine Program and the community here. Here is our clip job, with the Aggie's "A."
