9 out of 10 International Show Jumpers Give This Post A Thumb’s Up

Carley Sparks shares an oft-overlooked aspect of the Longines Global Champions Tour — it’s not actually “global.”

From Carley:

The Longines Global Champions Tour (GCT) is the most prestigious 5* show jumping circuit in the world. With 14 events in 12 countries, $12.5 MILLION in prize money and the world’s top talent, it’s spectacular. It is not, however, actually global.

Despite adding new dates each year, the GCT does not stop in Australia or anywhere in the Americas. Technically, it’s the Eastern Continents Tour. It’s time they did something about that and made a stop in the West. For the sake of accuracy.

Thumbs up if you think that is a great idea.
