How to Keep Your Tall Boots Zippers From Breaking
Broken zippers are the worst. This video from Charles Tota of The Dressage Connection explains why zipper blow-outs happen and what we can do to prevent them.
HN Tip: Keep some black electrical tape in your show kit. In the event that a zipper breaks, have someone hold the boot closed while you wrap it with the tape. It’s not the most comfortable fix but it looks OK from a distance and, in a pinch, it could save the day!
