Good thing real horses haven’t yet acquired this scary skill set, or we’d all be dead.
In the past we’ve reported on the development of these equine-inspired robots (see “News: Robot horse will stalk you, fall down, get up, and keep stalking“). Well, the newest model is programmed with a brand new disturbing talent: the ability to handle and throw heavy objects.
The robots are being developed by Boston Dynamics with funding from the Army Research Laboratory’s RCTA program.
