OMG… My daughter is 18 and *was* a certified Zachary Efron fan. Naturally, when we saw a HORSE MOVIE featuring him I had to watch it with her. Excruciating! You’ve summed things up nicely… and I love the part about “wait ’til he finds out about sheath cleaning.” BWAHAHAHA!

That said, I’ll still cast my vote for “Young Black Stallion” as the Very Worst Horse Movie Ever. Can’t wait for you to get to that one!

Please please review “The Dark Horse.” Here is the summary from IMDB. Seriously, the worst horse movie EVER!

The Dark Horse is a story of struggle and redemption. Dana, a ballet teacher, reluctantly returns to her childhood home to discover it is about to be sold. To save the farm, and the family, she must tame her mother’s dangerous black horse, and ride him to victory in the year’s biggest dressage competition.

Yep- she has to “tame the wild Friesian” and win the local dressage show to “save the family Farm!”

I am not kidding.

It is a terrible movie, yes, but made for some great Cal Poly Dressage Team memories.
