Video du Jour: Marching band horse
Thanks to readers Melanie and John for sending us this link to what may be the coolest halftime show EVER, featuring the Ohio State Marching Band’s tribute to video games.
Skip ahead to 6:00 if you think video games are dumb and just want to see the amazing horse formation– geeks will recognize it as the Zelda Triforce morphing into Link’s horse Epona, who proceeds to run across the field. Elsewhere, the band pays homage to Mario, Tetris, Pokémon, Halo, Space Invaders and Pac-Man. And now I have officially revealed myself as a child of the ’80s.

YES!!! Thank you! I am a Buckeye and now my daughter is there. She said this show was even better in person! Of course she knew her mom would freak out over the moving horse, too, so she sent me a link to the video as soon as it was posted. Go Bucks!
