HN Classifieds: ‘registered quarter horse – $800′
Will put up with anything, apparently. Notice the horse’s expression: “Somebody get me out of here, please!” The second photo is especially ridiculous–whyyyy????

The mobile home in the background answers some questions.
I don’t think the horse is upset at all. He looks quite pleased, actually (to me). I think it is unfortunate that HN is propagating “inside the box thinking” in regards to training and what constitutes a “good horse” by posting this sort of ad and mocking it. For some people, a sensible/been there done that attitude is paramount for what they need in a horse- these photos show that.
anonymous,
I agree that this is a lovely family horse. What makes this ad deeply concerning to me is the highly unsafe behavior and lack of basic safety equipment of the young equestrienne. I work with a lot of clients that have mTBI and back injuries. A seemingly minor concussion can cause long-term damage. Same goes for back injuries.
