Anything with a blue eye just throws me off. I can’t “read” their expression right. Especially dogs with blue eyes. I can’t tell if they want to love me or bite me!!

I have two gray mares, and the next time the farrier comes over I’ll ask him to give me a shoe from a hind leg for luck.

I personally have never had good luck with paints…the more white, the more they seem to be prone to spooking, making sudden foolish decisions, being squirrely. I know other people who swear by their paints, so maybe it’s just me. I have a solid paint in my program right now who is excellent, but she’s mostly Quarter horse.

How does everyone else feel about having one blue eye? That eye never seems to see the same way the brown one does…which makes some sense, actually.

I’m sure she’ll be awesome. She’s a paint, and it seems like lots of paints have a little white around their eyes, so maybe that’s the exception to the rule?

My grandfather owned one of the biggest rodeos in the country in the early 1900′s. That was something he lived by, and I sort of agree with it. Seems like most horses I’ve met with whites in their eyes are bull headed or spooky.

I just bought one that has a small amount of white in their eye…not a total “white” eye. But minimal….we’ll see how it goes!
