Let’s Discuss: Do you think the U.S. equestrian team is going to win any medals AT ALL?

As another team medal slips out of our hands, who do you think represents our best chance of not coming home empty-handed?

It may seem a little redundant but at this point my money is on flexible and rich fellers.

After today, I’m not sure anyone has it within their power to win a medal for team USA. I might say Steffen Peters and Ravel, but from the scores garnered during the first two days of competition, I would say that was unlikely unless they have a completely different gear they haven’t been using.

Steffan and Ravel were at 6th after the first 2 days of dressage. They MIGHT be able to pull a bronze medal out of the hat.

I’m thinking the US has a better chance at a medal in show jumping than in dressage. Fellers/Flexible could do it, but I’m not sure Peters/Ravel can beat the Brits/Germans/Dutch. Nonetheless, I’m rooting for all the American riders!
