It’s hard to put one over another. Any time I see an equine character in a book, I fall in love. It’s just like meeting a horse face-to-face.

I loved, loved, loved the Black Stallion as a kid. I also enjoyed Smokey from Smokey the Cow Horse by Will James. I know there are others but those are the ones that stand out.
