Georgina Bloomberg Shops at Target

Georgina Bloomberg, grand prix show jumper and daughter of the billionaire Mayor of New York, recently chronicled a whirlwind “Week in the Wardrobe” for the New York Times.

In addition to admitting she “could live in Target clothes forever,” Bloomberg recounted donning 7 For All Mankind jeans to a USEF board of trustees meeting, Prada heels to the Winter Equestrian Festival Nations Cup and a vintage Chanel necklace to a Today Show appearance promoting her new book, My Favorite Mistake.

Bloomberg underwent back surgery this summer for an injury a “little unrelated” to a fall at the Syracuse Invitational (N.Y.) in 2010, and has only recently returned to riding. My Favorite Mistake, an equestrian-themed novel co-written with Catherine Hapka, is the sequel to last year’s The A Circuit and currently ranked 7,330th on Amazon’s Best Sellers list.

You can read the rest of Bloomberg’s wardrobe chronicles in the New York Times online.
